Enjoy a guided walking pub tour with the London Pub Explorer through the historic backstreets of East London.

The vast size of England’s capital city sadly means many Londoners are unaware or unable to travel to explore exciting parts of their own city they’re unfamiliar with.

Due to this they are missing out on visiting some wonderful areas with superb traditional pubs. Londoners are often time-poor and the fact it can take well over an hour to travel short distances on public transport, or by congested roads, dictates we often live a localised existence.

This means many Londoners only ever visit places and hostelries near their home or place of business. London Pub Explorer believes they are poorer for it and invites anyone over 18 to expand their horizons and join me on an organised tour, visiting the backstreet pubs of the East End.

Come along to learn about the history of the area, meet some of the Guv’nors, hear their stories and enjoy a few drinks in authentic backstreet boozers full of charm and heritage.

Each walking tour last a little over four hours and includes commentary from the LPE providing insight into local pub life and East London culture.

Whether booking as a Londoner, or visiting from elsewhere in the UK or abroad, an LPE walking tour is a relaxing, friendly day out to learn about and experience different parts of London – as well as enjoying a few pints in good company and fine hostelries.
